Pacific Beachfest 5K
The 4th Annual Pacific Beachfest 5K is PB’s (Pacific Beach) most popular beach run! This half-beach, half-boardwalk challenge delivers every finisher a free tank top, a custom finisher’s medal, sunglasses, 1 beer (21+) and live music following the 5k. We offer 3 different waves, 8:30a early wave, 10a main wave, and 5p sunset wave followed by yoga on the beach.
This event is proud to benefit Discover Pacific Beach, a business improvement non-profit that represents the Pacific Beach community. They are a dedicated host of Pacific Beachfest among many other events and oversee dozens of annual initiatives aiming to better the beach community (home to 40,000+ residents and 1,500+ businesses). Sunset Yoga + Beach Run Wave
Join us for a low tide, un-timed 5K run along Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. Following the beach run, some of San Diego’s best yoga instructors will lead yoga right on the beach, perfectly timed to finish at sunset! All participants of Sunset Yoga + Beach Run Wave will receive a custom beach towel and sunglasses. Learn more, here.
In 2014, Pacific Beachfest 5K was the winner of the Best 5K/10K in the Pacific-West by Competitor Magazine.
Entering it’s 19th year, Pacific Beachfest showcases everything great about San Diego’s finest beach community. The festival plays host to three stages of live music, 5k beach run, pro surf competition, pro and social volleyball competition, craft beer garden, the famous PB Fish Taco Challenge, loads of food vendors, kids’ activities and more.
